Prosper Maufoux Burgundy Chardonnay 2022
Experience an excellent white Burgundy without breaking the bank. Prosper Maufoux presents their 2022 Chardonnay, which has achieved an impressive 94 points and received rave reviews, all at an affordable price.
The secret of this success lies in the carefully selected terroirs near Rully and Pouilly-Fuissé, where the Chardonnay grapes deliver exceptional quality. Winemaker Nadine Gublin, known for her exclusive Meursault wines, has created this wine.
Expect a Chardonnay that is fresh, creamy and full of fruit. The wine has a brilliant citrus yellow color in the glass with lime green nuances. The nose offers notes of white flowers, citrus, green apples, pears and tropical fruits such as honeydew melon and peach. Underneath the fruit notes are complex hints of wet stones, roasted almonds and toast.
The palate is both creamy and elegant with rich Chardonnay fruit, a long finish, great minerality and a touch of tropical fruit. Enjoy now or store for 4-7 years from the vintage.
