2024 Chardonnay, The Agnes, Crystallum, Walker Bay

Experience a wine with a fresh and mineral character, offering delicate notes of lime leaves, green apples and lychee. The aroma is characterized by Frangipani flowers, oat cakes, lemon meringue, butter and toast.

The grapes for this wine come from the renowned Hemel-en-Aarde and Overberg regions. After harvesting, whole bunches are pressed directly. The wine undergoes fermentation and aging in French oak barrels for 9 months, without the addition of SO2 or enzymes.

The name Agnes Chardonnay is a tribute to Peter-Allan Finlayson's great-grandmother, Agnes Floyd, who was known for her strength and resilience.
