Comtesse de Lupé Blanc is created from grapes grown in the clay and lime-rich soil of southern Burgundy. To preserve the wine's purity and fruity character, fermentation takes place in steel tanks. 90% of the wine is matured 'sur lie' in steel tanks, while the remaining 10% is briefly aged in used oak barrels to add extra complexity. The wine presents itself with a light, golden hue and a fresh aroma of citrus fruits, white peaches and green apples. The taste is light and clean, but develops into a full-bodied and well-balanced experience with a long, mineral aftertaste. Ideal for receptions, salads, fish and shellfish.
