Batard from Domaine Morey-Coffinet is a rare wine, produced in very small quantities. Thibault has only 0.13 hectares of land and produces about one single cask per year. This wine is already a pleasure to drink and can develop in the bottle for more than ten years.
Domaine Morey-Coffinet is located in Chassagne-Montrachet and covers 8.5 hectares. The winery was created through a partnership between Marc Morey and Fernand Coffinet. The majority of the vineyards are located in Chassagne-Montrachet, including premier crus such as la Romanée, Remilly and les Caillerets. There are also vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet. The vines are grown according to organic principles and the wine is matured in oak barrels, up to 60% of which can be new, depending on the vintage and cuvée.
