David Moret Saint-Romain 2023 is an elegant white Burgundy from the skilled micro-négociant David Moret, known for his small productions of exceptionally high quality. Saint-Romain is located in the northwestern part of the Côte de Beaune and is an area that produces fresh, mineral and precise Chardonnay wines - often with a little more coolness than the better-known neighboring communes.

In the glass, the wine appears light golden yellow with green reflections. The aroma is lively and inviting with notes of citrus, green apples, white flowers, peach and a touch of roasted almonds and vanilla from the gentle barrel aging.

The taste is fresh, clean and well-balanced. It has a nice minerality and crisp acidity, which lifts the fruit and gives a straight structure. Underneath the freshness of the fruit you find a discreet creaminess with subtle notes of butter, brioche and nuts, which testify to the wine's Burgundian character. The finish is long, precise and elegant with a fine combination of freshness and light roundness.

David Moret Saint-Romain 2023 is a wine that can be enjoyed young for its crisp freshness or aged for a few years to develop more depth and complexity. It goes well with seafood, white meats, poultry or simply as a glass of elegant Burgundy in good company.
