Discover this wine from a remarkable vintage, which can be enjoyed now or aged for up to 4-5 years to achieve additional complexity. It is made from carefully selected grapes from the Monfalletto vineyards, where 20-40 year old vines thrive on slopes facing southeast and southwest. The clay and calcareous soil, rich in magnesium and manganese, gives the wine its elegance and soft tannins. The vines grow at an altitude of 250 to 300 meters above sea level, resulting in a wine with a deep garnet red color and aromas of flowers and spices. The palate is characterized by liquorice, cherries in liqueur, cocoa and fresh raspberries. This wine is powerful, full-bodied and elegant without being heavy. It goes perfectly with dishes such as hare, braised beef, wild boar, game, pigeon, as well as dishes with white truffles from Alba and rich pasta dishes such as ravioli.
