The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine come from 10 of the 11 municipalities in the DOCG Barolo. The vines are between 9 and 42 years old, and many are in transition to organic cultivation. Each vineyard is vinified individually, and the blending takes place before bottling. The grapes undergo a long fermentation process in steel tanks with pumping over and agitation, followed by 30 months of maturation in both large wooden barrels and small barriques.

The 2017 vintage is classic and precise, with delicate nuances and a full-bodied character. "Castiglione" unites elements from all vineyards, resulting in a harmonious whole. The wine opens with balsamic notes of mint and roses, revealing fruity nuances of cherry, plum and blackberry. The taste is velvety and develops with oxygenation. Serve at 15-17 degrees with dishes such as game birds, venison, beef and cheese.
