This classic Barolo is created by the traditional Pio Cesare winery, which has been producing wines in the heart of Piedmont since 1881. The 2019 vintage is an excellent example of how the Nebbiolo grape combines power and finesse in one and the same wine.

Flavor profile:
The wine has a deep, garnet red color. The nose is filled with classic Barolo aromas: roses, violets, tar, licorice, leather and dark cherries , followed by fine spices and a mineral touch.
In the mouth it is structured, with high, fresh acidity and firm, ripe tannins. Long and complex aftertaste with potential for development over many years.
