Jean-Pierre Maldant has a 0.27 hectare plot in the prestigious Grand Cru vineyard 'Les Grandes Lolières' located in Ladoix-Sérigny. Here, the vines are an impressive 80 years old and the soil is a combination of clay and limestone, resulting in a low yield but a high degree of complexity. The wine undergoes fermentation and maturation for 14 months in traditional Burgundy oak barrels. Grand Cru Corton Les Grandes Lolières presents a complex aroma of ripe berries and roses. The taste is characteristic of Burgundy with a balance of strength, spices and finesse. Over time, the wine develops nuances of forest floor, leather and dried leaves. It is ideal with dishes with lamb, veal, beef or game.
