Château Margaux is one of the most iconic wines from Margaux, famous for its ability to age beautifully in bottle.

With a rich history, Château Margaux has been a jewel in Bordeaux for centuries. In 1977, it was saved from financial ruin by André Mentzelopoulos, and today it is run by Corinne Mentzelopoulos with the support of the Agnelli family.

The vineyards consist of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The vines have an average age of 35 years. The wine is known for its intense taste of blackcurrant, vanilla and violets, and it is distinguished by its strength, concentration and elegance. In the best vintages it can be aged for at least 30 years. A wine that must be experienced!
