Château Mouton Rothschild is one of the most renowned and expensive wines in the world. The story of this iconic wine began in 1853 when Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild acquired the château in Pauillac, Médoc. In 1922, his grandson, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, took over and transformed the estate into a global wine legend. He introduced bottling at the château and created unique artistic labels. Since 1988, Baronne Philippine and now her three children have continued this proud legacy.

In 1973, Mouton Rothschild was elevated to Premier Cru Classé, an honor marked by a label designed by Picasso. The vineyard covers 90 hectares in the Médoc, where the vines are planted in gravelly soil that is perfect for winemaking. The main grape varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Mouton Rothschild wines are renowned for their elegance, strength and long shelf life. The vineyard is densely planted with vines that are an average of 44 years old. Production is closely monitored by experts to ensure high quality throughout the process. Château Mouton Rothschild lives up to its motto: "I, Mouton, do not change."
