Château Pedesclaux is a traditional Pauillac wine, offering aromas of blackcurrant, leather and chocolate. It presents a medium-bodied flavour profile, where fruit and tannins are in perfect harmony. The composition consists of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, and the wine is aged for 12 months.

As a 5th Grand Cru Classé, Château Pedesclaux has seen a significant improvement in quality in recent years. Established in 1810, the château was taken over by the Lorenzetti family in 2009, who have modernised the cellars. The vineyards have an average age of 35 years.

Famous for its powerful Bordeaux wines, Pauillac is among the most recognized wine regions in the world. The soil is characterized by a deep layer of gravel with underlying clay and chalk.
