Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2019 is a red wine from California, consisting mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, with small amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The grapes are grown on the winery's own fields in the cool Alexander Valley, which gives the wine its special character.
The wine is known for its rich and well-balanced flavor profile. It offers notes of boysenberry, blackcurrant and rose petals, with undertones of vanilla and toasted oak. These complex aromas are framed by soft tannins and a pronounced acidity that provides a long and complex finish.
Compared to Silver Oak's Napa Valley edition, the Alexander Valley variant is often softer and a bit sweeter, making it easier to enjoy in its youth. This wine can be enjoyed now, but also has potential for further aging.
