Sei Solo Preludio Ribera Del Duero 2021

Experience an exquisite wine from Javier Zaccagnini, known for the acclaimed Aalto wines. This Ribera del Duero wine represents one of Spain's most distinguished wines.

The grapes come from 60-90 year old vines on the 6 hectare "La Horra" vineyard, which is partly owned by Javier. The high altitude ensures cool temperatures, giving the wine a strong structure and elegance.

The wine is made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes without the use of new oak barrels. The malolactic fermentation takes place underground at 10 degrees, resulting in a naturally developed wine with fresh fruit, complexity and elegance.

The wine presents itself with a deep violet/black color and blood red nuances. The aroma is characterized by licorice, spices and ripe black fruits. The taste offers notes of blackberry, plum, leather, cocoa and a touch of smoke. The tannins are finely balanced with an appropriate length and depth. A true masterful performance from Javier.
