Dominio Basconcillos Viña Magna Altura 2023 is an exquisite wine from the famous Ribera del Duero region of Spain. It is made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes that thrive at altitudes above 1,000 meters, creating optimal conditions for the grapes. The 2023 vintage presents itself with a deep ruby ​​red hue and complex aromas of ripe black berries such as blackberries and blackcurrants, accompanied by hints of licorice, spices and a slight mineral undertone from the earth.

The wine offers a powerful and well-structured taste experience with elegant tannins and a balanced acidity that provides a fresh finish. The long and persistent aftertaste has subtle notes of oak from the aging, which adds extra depth. Altura 2023 has great potential for aging, but can also be enjoyed now, especially with red meat, game dishes or mature cheeses, which highlight the complexity and intensity of the wine.
