Réva is among the younger but highly recognized producers in Monforte d'Alba, where they work organically and with great respect for the traditions of Barolo. The 2021 vintage is considered a classic and excellent vintage in Piedmont, and Réva has created a wine that shows both the intense character of the Nebbiolo grape and a clear, modern touch of elegance.

In the glass, the wine has a clear ruby ​​red to garnet red color .

The nose is seductive and complex with notes of fresh cherries, ripe raspberries and pomegranate , combined with dried roses, violets, licorice, mint, spices and a touch of leather and forest floor . The barrel aging adds subtle nuances of vanilla, cocoa and tobacco, without dominating the fruit.

The palate is structured, intense and silky at the same time . The distinctive but ripe tannins are beautifully integrated and balanced by a fresh acidity and a deep, fruity core. The finish is long, mineral and refined , with persistent notes of red berries, spices and a touch of earthy tones.

Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo

Ageing: Aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels followed by bottle aging, giving the wine its classic Barolo structure and aging ability.

Alcohol content: approximately 14.5%

Style: A vintage with classic structure and intensity , yet youthful freshness and elegance. Can be drunk now after decanting, but will develop beautifully over the next 15–20 years.

Food pairing: Ideal with game, braised beef, lamb crown, risotto with mushrooms or truffles, and aged cheeses .
