Pio Cesare Langhe Nebbiolo

Pio Cesare Langhe Nebbiolo is a wine made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes originating from Diano d'Alba, La Morra and Barolo. The flavor profile is very similar to Barolo.

Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks with 12 days of skin contact. The wine is then aged for 30 months in French oak, 20% of which is matured in small, new barriques and 80% in larger wooden barrels.

Aroma and taste
The aroma offers notes of rosemary, spruce and tar. The taste is full-bodied with nuances of ripe cherries, orange peel, licorice, menthol and oriental spices. The texture is well-balanced with cool fruit and tannins.

Serving suggestions
Ideal with grilled pork, poultry, lasagna and traditional Italian dishes. The wine can be aerated for 2-3 hours before serving and can be stored for up to 10 years.
