Madame Veuve Point Gevrey-Chambertin 2017

Exquisite Gevrey-Chambertin for those who love the good tastes of life!

Gevrey-Chambertin, located south of Dijon in the Côtes de Nuits, covers almost 140 hectares. The vineyards are located at an altitude of between 280 and 380 meters with a southeast and east orientation. These red wines are made exclusively from pinot noir. The area is famous for its elegant and powerful wines. The grapes undergo partial aging in oak barrels for up to 18 months.

This Gevrey-Chambertin presents a deep garnet red hue. The nose offers notes of strawberry, blackberry, violet, reseda and rose, which develop over time into licorice and leather. The palate is full-bodied, intense and rich with a solid structure and velvety tannins.

Serve the wine at 15-16 degrees with dishes such as lamb, short ribs or Burgundy cheeses such as Epoisses. It is ready to be enjoyed now, but can also be stored for many years.
