Lazio Morini Ripasso 2017

Grape composition: 70% Corvina and Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, and 10% other grape varieties. These grapes are grown in our own vineyards in Mezzane, Grezzana and Val d'Illasi, where we use the Guyot system with a planting density of 8,000 plants per hectare. The yield is 50 hectoliters per hectare.

The harvest takes place manually at the end of September and the beginning of October. The grapes are vinified in batches of 4-5 tons. After destemming and pressing, the must undergoes cryomaceration at 7-8 degrees for 12-18 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, where "pump-over" is carried out regularly to extract flavor, color and tannins. In the spring, the wine is blended with residues from the Amarone production, which enriches it with color, concentration, aroma and structure. The alcohol percentage is typically 14.5%.

The wine presents itself with a deep ruby ​​red color and a complex aroma of ripe berries and spices. The taste is full and fruity, which contributes to the complexity of the wine.
