A full-bodied and modern white wine from Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, Mexico – an area known for its warm climate and vineyards close to the sea, which provide a nice balance of grape ripeness and freshness. This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay and partially aged in oak, which gives depth and complexity.

Appearance

Straw yellow color with golden reflections.

Fragrance

Aromatic and generous aroma with ripe tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, supported by citrus, green apples and floral notes. From the barrel aging, hints of vanilla, butter, brioche and toasted nuts are discernible.

Taste

Round and creamy in the mouth with a nice balance between fruit and palate. The taste offers ripe stone fruits, tropical fruits, a little citrus and a discreet minerality. The oak notes are nicely integrated with vanilla and a slightly spicy touch. The aftertaste is long, persistent and silky.

Style and storage

This Chardonnay combines the freshness and fruitiness of the Baja California climate with the structure and depth of barrel aging. Suitable to enjoy young, but can develop for 3–5 years.
