Hartenberg Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

One of the most acclaimed red wines, renowned for its excellent quality and ability to age gracefully. It offers a scent of spicy vanilla oak and rich notes of red berries and cherries. The wine has soft tannins with flavors of pencil, cigar box and sandalwood, and a long finish.

The winery is located on the scenic slopes of the Bottelary Hills near Stellenbosch, making it perfect for producing award-winning wines. The property includes a wetland reserve, vineyards and is home to a rich wildlife including over 120 species of birds. We practice sustainable agriculture and are proud members of the Biodiversity and Wine Initiative (BWI) and the Integrated Production of Wine (IPW).

Hartenberg has a history dating back to 1692 and has changed hands several times. In 1987, the property was purchased by Ken Mackenzie, and his daughters continue to invest in its future.
