Carlo Ferrini, an iconic winemaker, has achieved more 100-point wines than anyone else in Italy. Many of these masterpieces were created for other wineries until he decided to buy a small, unique piece of land and named it Giodo, in homage to his parents, Giovanna and Donatello.

Giodo presents an enchanting aroma with red berries such as raspberries and currants, complemented by floral notes of hibiscus and elderflower. After some time in the glass it develops complex nuances of forest floor, wild berries and fresh herbs. The palate is rich in fruit with subtle hints of almonds and cedar from the barrel ageing. The long finish is carried by silky tannins that complete the wine experience. Enjoy it now or store it for over 20 years from the vintage.
