The 2016 vintage of Brunello is considered one of the most outstanding ever, and the 2016 Caparzo Brunello does not disappoint. This wine, made from Sangiovese grapes, presents an intense garnet red hue with a slight orange tinge. The aroma is complex and offers notes of sun-ripened berries, wild fruits and a touch of bitter chocolate. The taste is deep and concentrated with a powerful character and soft tannins. The wine has an impressive aging potential of 15-20 years and should be aired for 1-2 hours before serving. It is ideal with dishes with beef, lamb, game and strong cheeses.
