Faliero is a small producer from Piedmont, who with their Langhe Nebbiolo shows how refined and accessible this grape can be without the long aging time associated with Barolo and Barbaresco. The 2022 vintage in the Langhe was characterized by warm days and cool nights, which yielded ripe grapes with concentrated fruit and a well-balanced freshness.

In the glass, the wine appears with a clear ruby ​​red color with a hint of garnet at the rim.

The nose is inviting and intense , dominated by red cherries, raspberries and ripe strawberries , followed by classic Nebbiolo notes of dried roses, violets, licorice and a touch of herbs . There is also a hint of a slightly earthy minerality that adds depth.

The palate is fresh, elegant and structured with a medium body. The typical Nebbiolo tannins are present, but softer and more rounded than in a Barolo, making the wine very drinkable already now. The juicy red fruit is balanced by a lively acidity, and the aftertaste is clean, floral and persistent .

Aging: Aged primarily in steel tanks with short contact with used oak barrels, which preserves the grape's fresh and aromatic expression.

Alcohol content: approximately 13.5%

Style: A classic Langhe Nebbiolo – aromatic, elegant and approachable, yet still with the characteristic structure of Nebbiolo. Perfect as an introduction to the grape before moving on to Barolo and Barbaresco.
