Origin and terroir
This wine comes from the “Les Vignottes” vineyard in Comblanchien, part of the Côte de Nuits-Villages appellation. The soil is typically calcareous clay and gravel, and combined with the appellation’s south-easterly orientation, contributes to both the body and elegance of the wine.

Vinification and aging
The grapes are 100% Pinot Noir. After manual harvesting, they are gently destemmed and fermented, after which the wine matures for 14–15 months in French oak barrels, a smaller proportion (10–50%) of which are new.

Color and bouquet
The wine has a deep red hue and violet hues. The nose reveals ripe red forest berries such as cherries and blackberries, combined with floral notes and subtle spices, creating an inviting and complex aroma.

Tasting notes
On the palate, the wine offers a velvety and fresh experience with pure fruit character — especially cherry and berry compote — followed by a slightly bittersweet and spicy finish. The tannins are well-integrated, and the structure is clear without seeming heavy.
