Sonnentropfen Dürkheimer Riesling trocken is a village wine from Bad Dürkheim. The grapes for this wine come from plots that benefit from optimal sunlight. In the upper parts of the vineyards, the soil is rich in lime, which gives the wine a ripe and rounded character. In the lower areas, the soil is more sandy and clayey, which adds a refreshing acidity.

The wine offers a fruity aroma with notes of citrus, peach and green hazelnuts. The taste is fresh with a good minerality and quickly develops nuances of lime, lychee and ripe tones of peach and apricot. The finish is crisp, long and full-bodied. It is ideal with salads, seafood, Asian food and fish and poultry in white sauces.
