Grapes and vinification

The wine is made exclusively from Riesling grapes from two unique plots:

Frauenberg : The area is characterized by calcareous marl and layers of pure lime with fossils of shellfish.

Dalsheimer Saulochs : Here you find calcareous loess.

The vines, which are around 25 years old, have deep roots, which gives the wine an intense flavour and minerality. After a short skin contact, the must is fermented slowly in steel tanks and matured "sur lie" until February, which preserves the wine's freshness and aroma.

Scent : An aromatic experience with notes of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, white peaches, apricots and cool herbs.
