Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Plan de Dieu 2021 is a full-bodied and characterful red wine from the southern Rhône. The Plan de Dieu area, which means “God’s Plan” , is particularly known for delivering wines with depth, warmth and structure.

In the glass, the wine is deep ruby ​​red with violet hues.

The scent is generous with intense aromas of sun-ripened cherries, blackberries and plums , accompanied by spicy notes of black pepper, thyme, licorice and a touch of garrigue – the wild herbs that characterize the Rhône landscape.

The palate is round, powerful and harmonious , with dark fruit and spices balanced by a juicy freshness. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, giving structure and aging potential. The finish is long and spicy with a touch of minerality.

Grapes: Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre

Food pairing: Excellent with grilled beef, lamb, game, rustic stews and mature cheeses .

Serving: Should be served at 16–18 °C and can be aerated for an hour before serving to unfold its many layers.
