Cairanne Mas des Falaises 2020 – Cellier des Princes is a classic and elegant red wine from the southern Rhône , expressing the area’s warm climate and complex terroir. The wine comes from the Cairanne AOC , an appellation often referred to as “Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s little brother,” and is produced by Cellier des Princes – a historic cooperative known for its well-crafted Rhône wines with both power and finesse.

This vintage is created from a traditional blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre , grown on sunny slopes with calcareous and clayey soil, where the grapes achieve a perfect balance between ripeness and freshness.

After harvest, the grapes are vinified separately to highlight the character of each variety, and the wine is then aged in concrete tanks and large oak barrels for 9–12 months, giving a rounded structure without overpowering the fruit.

In the glass, Cairanne Mas des Falaises 2020 has a deep, dark red color with garnet red reflections. The nose is intense and inviting with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, blackcurrants and a touch of herbs, pepper, leather and licorice .

The palate is full-bodied and silky , with ripe tannins and a beautiful balance between dark fruit, spice and fresh acidity. The finish is long, warm and persistent , characterised by Mediterranean herbs and a subtle touch of vanilla from the cask.

Serving: At 16–18°C , preferably after 30 minutes of aeration.
