Grape composition: This wine is made from three classic Portuguese grape varieties, which are carefully handpicked when perfectly ripe.

Production: The grapes were hand-picked at optimum ripeness and fermented in open vats with manual stirring to ensure maximum flavour, colour and tannin extraction. Fermentation was stopped by the addition of spirit and the wine was then aged for two years in large, old French oak barrels before being bottled without filtration.
