Armand Rousseau Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2020

Armand Rousseau is a famous winery located in Gevrey-Chambertin in Burgundy. It was founded in the early 20th century and is now managed by Eric Rousseau together with his daughter Cyrielle. The winery produces 11 different wines, 7 of which are classified as Grand Cru, including the sought-after Chambertin and Chambertin-Clos de Bèze.

With 15 hectares of vineyards, eight of which are Grand Cru, the vines are grown traditionally with minimal use of chemicals. The wines are fermented in open vats and aged in barrels for 18 months. Armand Rousseau releases his wines two years after the harvest.

Known for their bright color, well-balanced structure and elegance, Armand Rousseau wines are sought-after collectors' items globally. In 2020, the wine house was recognized as number 1 among 2019's most influential brands by Liv-ex.
