Vina Marro Gran Reserva 2017

The 2017 vintage in Rioja was exceptional, with ideal weather conditions. The grapes come from vines between 30 and 65 years old, planted in clay and limestone soils. The wine undergoes fermentation in steel tanks and is then aged for 30 months in oak barrels from the United States, France, Hungary and Russia, followed by 40 months in bottle.

The wine presents a deep ruby ​​red hue and a complex aroma of ripe fruit, herbs, licorice and smoky and toasted undertones. The palate is intense with notes of dark chocolate, toffee, toasted bread and subtle raisin nuances. The tannins are ripe and soft, giving a harmonious and persistent aftertaste.

Best served at 16-17 degrees with dishes with lamb, beef and game.
