Vi De Vila Porrera Blanco Priorat 2019

Vi de Vila Porrera Blanco is a remarkable wine that combines Garnacha Blanca (60%), Picapoll (20%), Pedro Ximenez (15%) and other local grape varieties from Porrera. The vines range in age from 7 to 80 years, and the grapes are carefully hand-picked to ensure high quality. Half of the must is fermented in new wooden barrels, while the other half ferments in cement tanks, both using the grapes' natural yeasts. After blending, 80% of the wine is aged in cement tanks, while the rest is aged in glass containers for around 9 months. Production is limited to approximately 8,000 bottles.

Vi de Vila Porrera Blanco offers a characteristic aroma with mineral and exotic notes, as well as hints of ripe peaches, apricots and hazelnuts. The taste is a harmonious balance between freshness and softness, with a good structure and complexity, as well as a subtle woody character from the fermentation in new barrels. The wine finishes with a dry and harmonious aftertaste, offering nuances of salt, peach stones and almonds.

It is ideal for serving with grilled fish, lobster bisque, seafood dishes or a rich soup.
