The 2022 edition of The Macallan A Night on Earth in Scotland pays tribute to the traditional Scottish Hogmanay New Year's festivities. This exclusive whiskey edition captures the essence of New Year's Eve with its spirit of joy and hope.
Matured in a combination of American bourbon and European sherry casks, this whiskey delivers a rich, sweet flavor reminiscent of shortbread, complemented by notes of vanilla, toasted marshmallows, dried orange, figs, and cinnamon. The medium finish reveals subtle hints of caramel and freshly baked cookies. The packaging, crafted by Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, draws inspiration from the bonfires of Hogmanay.
