In 1979, the Sito Moresco vineyard became part of Angelo Gaja's estate, located in Pajoré near Treiso. This wine is a harmonious blend of Nebbiolo and Merlot from Sito Moresco, combined with Barbera from Gaja's exclusive single vineyard.

The 2020 vintage was characterized by a dry and warm winter, followed by summer rains and a sunny period from mid-August to late September. These conditions resulted in grapes with intense aromas, good acidity and increased sugar content. Each grape variety was fermented separately in steel tanks, and after the malolactic fermentation, the wines were blended and aged for 12 months in barrels that were 1-2 years old.

Sito Moresco offers flavors of cherries, plums, violets and wild berries. As the wine ages, it develops complex spices and a more robust character. The taste is both juicy and powerful, with a fine balance between fruity sweetness and dryness. It is an excellent choice for meat dishes such as lamb, veal, beef and game. The wine should be served in a large glass to get the full experience.
