Château de la Roulerie's Rosé d'Anjou is made from Grolleau and Gamay grapes, which are carefully hand-picked when perfectly ripe. The grapes undergo a maceration with the skins for 12-18 hours, which gives the wine its unique rosé hue. The fermentation process takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, and the wine is aged on the lees (Sur Lie) for a few months before bottling. It has a salmon-colored tone with a reddish tinge and an aroma of strawberries, raspberries and wild berries. The taste is characterized by notes of blackberries and blueberries. This Rosé d'Anjou is an excellent choice for salads, seafood, marinated fish, poultry, white meat and vegetable dishes.
