Ron Sostenible is a fine rum from the Dominican Republic, aged for at least 8 years in barrels that previously contained Bourbon, Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso. This rum presents a rich flavor profile with notes of dried fruit, figs, raisins, toffee and caramel. The name, which means "sustainable rum" in Spanish, reflects the series' dedication to sustainability. The rum is made from the juice of pressed sugar cane, which improves both taste and quality. The distillery is powered by green energy generated from the sugar cane biomass, and the vinasse is used as a natural fertilizer. Over 50% of the CO2 emissions from production are recycled in beverages. The series is transported by sailing ships that use wind power, and the bottles are made from 100% recycled glass with labels made from recycled paper and stoppers made from recycled cork.
