Quinta Santa Eufemia 20 Year Old White Port Wine

Quinta Santa Eufemia is a winery located in the Douro, known as the world's oldest certified wine region. The winery specializes in traditional port wines as well as local wines.

This white port wine is made from the finest grapes from Eufemia's own vineyards in the Douro. It offers a complex aroma with notes of toasted almonds, candied lemon peel and ripe fruit. The taste is well-balanced with hints of dried fruit and roasted nuts, which is due to the 20 years of aging in barrels.

The wine is made from local grape varieties such as Malvasia Fina, Moscatel Galego and Rabigato, all handpicked from old vineyards. The grapes are fermented in granite tanks, and the must is added with grape spirit to preserve the sweetness of the grapes, resulting in an alcohol percentage of just under 20%. The wine is then aged for 20 years in 550-liter port barrels before being bottled.
