Maynards 40 Years Old Tawny Porto Special Edition is a fine port wine with a stated age. The Van Zeller family, with over 15 generations of experience, purchase small batches of rare wines from the Douro when the quality is high enough to bear the family name. This wine is acquired from a renowned Quinta in the Douro Superior and is specially bottled in limited quantities for Vinimondo's customers.

The wine has a dark color with green hues and its bouquet is intense with aromas of toasted tannins, walnuts, citrus, dried bergamot, caramelized sugar and spicy cloves. It offers a unique balance between sweetness and acidity, making it a meditative and relaxing experience. It should be served chilled in large white wine glasses, but not straight from the refrigerator. After opening, it can maintain its quality for several weeks.
