Quinta do Noval Vintage Port 2016

This exquisite port wine is made from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinto Cão and Sousão grape varieties. After harvest, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, where modern winemaking techniques meet traditional methods such as foot pressing in large vats. Fermentation takes place in stone vats (Lagares) to ensure optimal extraction of aromas, color and tannins. Quinta do Noval, registered in 1715 and now owned by AXA, is one of the most renowned wineries in the Douro Valley. The property extends over 210 hectares, of which 145 hectares are dedicated to vineyards, located in the Cima Corgo region, with wine production now centered in the Douro Valley.
