Quinta da Ervamoira, located in the Douro Superior, extends over 200 hectares and benefits from excellent climatic conditions. The year 1994 offered ideal ripening conditions, resulting in a limited production of Single Quinta Vintage Port. This wine, which matures in barrel for 2-3 years and then in bottle for 10-20 years, presents a perfect balance between depth and elegance.

The area is located 90 km from the mouth of the Douro River and is protected by a mountain range that reaches up to 1400 meters. The slate soil of the region is ideal for wine production. Ramos Pinto has always been foresighted and in 1976 identified the most suitable grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Barroca and Roriz.

Founded in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto, the company is now part of Louis Roederer, which continues to maintain the high standards. Ramos Pinto produces wines from their own vineyards in Cima-Corgo and Douro Superior, allowing them to create unique "Single Quinta Port" wines.
