Parallèle 45 Blanc is a delicate white wine from Côtes-du-Rhône, named after the 45th parallel, which is close to Jaboulet's vineyards. This wine is a blend of 50% Grenache Blanc, 20% Marsanne, 20% Viognier and 10% Bourboulenc, all grown organically from 25-year-old vines in the southern Rhône. The wine undergoes fermentation and maturation for six months in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Parallèle 45 Blanc offers a scent profile with notes of green leaves and citrus. The taste is well balanced with a fine minerality, hints of white peaches and passion fruit, and a fresh and persistent finish.
It is ideal for serving with fish or shellfish soups, mussels, smoked salmon or fish in light sauces. The wine is also an excellent choice for veal or poultry fricassee.
