Nobu 1830 Pecorino 2023 is an exquisite white wine from Vigna Madre , a vineyard located in the beautiful Abruzzo region of Italy. This wine is made exclusively from Pecorino grapes , which are grown in the renowned Terre di Chieti area. The vineyards are strategically located to the south and are located around 380 meters above sea level, which provides a calcareous and rocky soil. The grapes are typically harvested from late August to early September.

Vinification: The winery combines traditional methods with modern techniques. A unique method, used by the Di Carlo family , involves chilling the grapes followed by fermentation on the natural yeast cells in cement tanks and amphorae. This process adds complexity and depth to the wine.

Tasting notes: The wine presents itself with a golden yellow color with green nuances. The nose is complex with notes of ripe fruit, balsamic tones and medicinal herbs. The taste is salty and mineral, structured and well-balanced with hints of candied citrus fruits and almonds.

Serving suggestion: It is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature of 10°C. It is ideal as an aperitif and goes perfectly with seafood dishes, poultry, soups and cheeses.

The producer: Vigna Madre , also known as Famiglia di Carlo , has a history that stretches back to 1830, when the family began exporting grapes to various regions of Italy. Today, new generations continue to carry on the traditions combined with modern winemaking techniques.
