Michel Forgeron Cognac VSOP

Michel Forgeron Cognac VSOP is an elegant and balanced cognac from the family-owned house of Michel Forgeron in Grande Champagne – the finest cru in the Cognac region. This VSOP is aged for at least 4 years in oak barrels, giving a beautiful harmony between fresh fruit and beginning complexity from the barrel.

In the glass it appears with a golden amber color. The aroma is refined and fruity with notes of ripe pears, apricot and peach, accompanied by fine touches of vanilla, honey and roasted almonds. The taste is soft and round with a nice balance between fruit sweetness and discreet spice from the cask. The aftertaste is persistent, elegant and with a touch of flowers and vanilla, which underlines the characteristic finesse of the house.

Michel Forgeron Cognac VSOP is a cognac that can be enjoyed neat as a digestif, but is also suitable for more refined cocktails. It represents a step up in depth and complexity from the VS edition, and clearly demonstrates the quality of Forgeron's craftsmanship.
