This Primitivo Riserva comes from Masseria La Volpe in the heart of Manduria , Puglia – an area recognized for creating some of Italy's most elegant and powerful Primitivo wines.

The wine is made with 100% Primitivo grapes , which are harvested manually when they have reached optimal ripeness.

Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeast strains at a controlled temperature (~24 °C). The wine is then aged for nine months in French and American oak barrels before being released for sale at least two years after harvest (riserva rules)
