Forziello, which debuted in 2012, is made from Corvina, Croatina and the rare Cassetta grape from Alto Adige in northern Italy. The grapes undergo a 60-90 day drying process, after which the wine undergoes a long fermentation. It is then aged in large French oak barrels for around 30 months, followed by a further 12 months of bottle ageing. Forziello is a rustic and spicy wine that pairs perfectly with food. The alcohol content is 14.5%.
