The composition of the grapes consists of 70% Corvina and Corvinone, 20% Rondinella and 10% other grape varieties. These grapes are grown in the areas of Tregnano, Grezzana, Illasi and Mezzane. The vines are planted at a density of 8,000 per hectare, resulting in a yield of 30 hectoliters per hectare. The grapes are hand-picked in October and undergo a drying process of 100-120 days. After destemming and pressing in January, a cold maceration and fermentation at temperatures between 18-25 degrees for 20-30 days follows. The wine matures for 4 years in 350-liter oak barrels and a further 8-10 months in bottle. The alcohol percentage is 16.5%.
