Appearance

Deep red with garnet tones, indicating beginning development.

Fragrance

Intense and complex bouquet with notes of ripe cherries, blackberries and plums, flanked by dried roses, tobacco, leather and a touch of licorice. Aged in oak, which adds vanilla, spices and a slightly toasted touch.

Taste

Elegant yet powerful in expression. Densely packed fruit with dark berries, dried fruits and subtle spices. The characteristic Nebbiolo tannins are present but silky and well integrated after ageing. Long, complex finish with earthy and spicy notes.

Style and storage

A wine with clear inspiration from Barolo and Barbaresco, but with the sun-ripened warmth and roundness of Mexico. Suitable for aging for 8–12 years, where it will develop further complexity.
