Hamilton Russell Vineyards Chardonnay 2023 is a sophisticated and well-structured white wine from the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley in South Africa. It offers intense aromas and flavors of pear and lime, which are perfectly balanced by a precise, natural acidity and a long, dry mineral finish. This tight and mineral character gives the wine a remarkable complexity and persistence of flavor.

The wine is aged for 9 months in 300-liter French oak barrels, of which 24% are new, 32% have been used once before, 24% have been used twice before, and the remaining 20% ​​are older barrels. This mix contributes to the wine's elegant texture and intense flavor profile.

With an alcohol content of 13.22% and an acidity of 6.30 g/l, this Chardonnay is both fresh and full-bodied. It is ideal for accompanying dishes with butter-based sauces, such as hollandaise, and also goes well with fish, shellfish and poultry.
