Martian Ranch & Vineyard introduces a rich and spicy Tempranillo from the 2016 vintage. This wine is characterized by dark fruits and a full-ripe flavor that retains the classic Tempranillo spice without compromising on structure. The aroma reveals notes of black cherries, blueberries, plums, dried flowers, pepper, vanilla and pipe tobacco. The taste is full-bodied with nuances of blackberries, cherries, plums, dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and exotic spices. The finish is both long-lasting and well-balanced.

The wine is made from Tempranillo grapes grown in Santa Barbara County, California, specifically in the "Alisos Canyon" AVA. Martian Ranch, owned by Nan Helgeland, is known for its biodynamic wines and specializes in grape varieties such as Grenache Blanc, Albariño, and Tempranillo.
